The G21 blast resistant door is a product, designed, tested and manufactured by InterDam BV.
Doorleafs are constructed from 2 sheet metal panels (galvanized or stainless steel), sandwiching a heavy duty fire resistant core and solidly assembled to form an extremely rigid, flat panel. All doors are customized upon clients' blast rating and fire rating if required.
Our G21 blast doors are always supplied as one single unit, fully pre-assembled and ready to be installed into the wall opening with certified selftapping screws through predrilled holes in its frame. (installation by welding is possible as well)
Once installed, the G21 blast resistant door will operate as a normal steel door. All locks, handles, and hinges are made of solid stainless steel, durable and architecturally pleasing. The standard blast door can be quoted instantly by this website.
Fire/blast ratings
The G21 blast door does fully comply with all requirements with respect to fire and blast resistance. InterDam has Lloyds type approvals for fire ratings A0, A60, H0, H60, H120 and jet fire. Blast resistance has been designed and tested in accordance with the latest knowledge about explosion hazards.
Door hardware
All doors are provided with the following door hardware:
- 3 no. stainless steel hinges per doorleaf
- Stainless steel handles with escutcheons
- Seals with seal protection strips (guarantees weather- and gastightness)
- Springloaded door closer
